Hello everyone. I am trying to build a picture of which foreign firms are actually active in Libya right now, as opposed to which ones announce intentions. There is a lot of noise: memoranda of understanding, delegations, forums, and very little follow through that I can verify. For anyone who follows Libyan business closely, is there a source that reports these meetings consistently enough that you can tell the difference between a real pipeline and a photo opportunity? Timing and repetition matter more to me than depth here.

I’d look for sources that consistently track meetings, signed agreements, follow-up visits, and project activity rather than reporting each event in isolation. Repeated coverage of the same companies over several months is probably one of the better indicators that there is a genuine pipeline behind the headlines.
