Hey everyone,
I’m exploring solutions for industrial flooring and wanted to get some expert opinions or real-world experiences. The project I’m working on involves a large manufacturing facility that requires a floor that’s tough, long-lasting, and easy to maintain under heavy equipment, foot traffic, and occasional chemical spills.
Some of the options we’re considering include:
Epoxy coatings
Polyurethane flooring
Concrete with hardeners
Vinyl or rubber tiles (for lighter zones)
What I’d like to know is:
Which type of industrial flooring have you found to be the most durable and cost-effective?
How do different floor types handle impact, abrasion, or chemical exposure?
What are the maintenance requirements and long-term performance like?
Any specific brands or installers you'd recommend?
Also, are there any flooring systems that work well in both dry and wet conditions?
Appreciate any advice, experiences, or photos if you have them. Would love to avoid costly trial-and-error and get this right the first time. Thanks!
