The Course Evaluation Guide (CEG) is student-run and student-edited. It is not an official MIT publication. These pages present an impartial, computer-generated summary of the course evaluation data. And unlike the CEG, they do not include student comments. How did you come up with the summary statistics at the top of each page? Evaluation. Evaluation is a critical part of the teaching and learning process. It completes the feedback loop, and helps you determine if the learners have understood the material presented to them. During this phase, you should be assessing the knowledge and skills that were defined in the learning outcomes statements. The modified subject evaluation form for academic year 2020-21 contains the following sets of questions: Instructor Questions — Three questions on the quality of teaching using a standard 7-point Likert scale followed by an opportunity for open-ended comments on teaching..
